European Political Elites of the 16th Century in the New Book by Siarhei Harbitski

A new monograph by our colleague, Siarhei Harbitski, has just been published: “The 16th Century: Leading Figures of the Era. Biographies of Outstanding Personalities, Wars, Conflicts, Reforms.”
The book explores the lives and activities of four prominent political leaders of the 16th century: King Henry VIII of England, King Charles V of Spain and Holy Roman Emperor, Queen Catherine de’ Medici of France, and Tsar Ivan IV the Terrible of Russia.
Written in an engaging and accessible style, the monograph combines scholarly analysis with a popular-science approach. It presents numerous memorable facts about the political elites of Europe and their rulers, making it appealing to a wide audience of history enthusiasts.
