Participation in an International Conference on Bilingualism in Parma and Milan

Tatiana Savchenko, PhD, Assistant Professor at the Department of Slavic Languages,participated in the international conference Bilingualism and Intercultural Dialogue: Challenges of the 21st Century, held on March 12–14, 2026, in Parma and Milan

Within the round table “Modern RFL textbooks: balancing tradition and innovation”, she presented a joint paper with Janina Krejčí, PhD (Masaryk University), focusing on teacher training and the role of teaching materials in this process.

The conference brought together experts from a number of European universities. It provided an opportunity to discuss current issues in teaching Russian as a foreign language and to establish new professional contacts.
